Experienced Lobbyist

We are seeking a highly experience lobbyist with experience in the textiles industry. This position is responsible for developing and implementing regulatory strategy, tactics, and content in support of company goals and positions. The person in this position will manage legislative affairs, serving as the company's primary lobbyist with the state legislature and primary advocate before state regulatory agencies. Responsibilities will relate to identifying and influencing proposed state legislative activities and may interact with members of the state's executive branch and with members of the state's legislative body. This position also plans and executes strategies to ensure that any state legislation has a positive or neutral impact on the company.
